Lenovo India has confirmed that its Z1 smartphone, under its online-only sub-brand, Zuk, will be launching on May 10. Lenovo India took to Facebook to announce the launch date for the new Z1 smartphone.

The smartphone has a 5.5-inch Full HD display and comes with a body surrounded by a metal frame.

There is a fingerprint scanner integrated with the home button on the front, and a USB Type-C port is there as well.

Another feature of the Lenovo Z1 smartphone is that it packs large 4100mAh battery.

The dual-SIM phone supports two Nano-SIM cards, both of which support 4G LTE connectivity and Indian LTE bands - FDD Band 3 (1800MHz) and TDD Band 40 (2300MHz).

The Z1 smartphone packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz with integrated Adreno 330 graphics, coupled with 3GB of RAM.

The Lenovo Z1 packs 64GB of inbuilt storage, but there's no option for storage expansion. As for the photography department, the Z1 has a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash and an 8MP front-facing snapper.

The Lenovo Z1 is going to be second brand to run the Cyanogen OS like Micromax.
