Lenovo has announced an unusual ThinkPad X1 PC, which the manufacturer calls "the world's first bendable laptop." Its main feature is a flexible touch screen. It allows you to use the device as a tablet, compact all-in-one or a small laptop with a touch keyboard. The notebook is equipped with an OLED display with a diagonal of 13.3 inches and a resolution of 2K. Aspect ratio in expanded form - 3: 2. By bending it, the user gets two screens that can be used differently in different applications. In this mode, you can type text or read books, displaying pages on each half.

In laptop mode, the gadget is quite stable, since the built-in battery is located exactly on the right side of the case, which is used as a keyboard unit. The manufacturer did not specify the battery capacity but assured that the gadget could work all day without recharging.

As far as technical specifications are concerned, only the presence of an Intel chip, stereo speakers, several USB-C ports and a camera for authorization using Windows Hello is known. There is also support for the Wacom stylus, which comes bundled.

A full announcement of the bendable ThinkPad X1 is scheduled for 2020. Until that time, the device will have to pass a lot of tests so that it will not work as with a Galaxy Foldsmartphone, the output of which was postponed due to detected problems with the display.
