You'll be listening to the news of leopard attacks every day. But the event we're going to tell you is totally different from other events where a child's bravery has been seen. In fact, a 14-year-old boy in Thane district of Maharashtra has saved the life of his seven-year-old brother from leopard captivity by risking his life.

Both Naresh Kaluram and his younger brother Harshad Vithal Bhala along with their grandmother were reportedly gone to the nearby forest on the day of the incident. While the children's grandmother got busy with her work in the forests, the two brothers moved inside the forest to discover the berries. Meanwhile, the leopard hidden in the bushes came out and attacked at elder brother. When the elder brother somehow survived, the leopard began attacking the younger brother. Seeing the scene, the older brother panicked and devised a strategy to save his younger brother, during which he attacked the leopard with a stick and a stone. Disturbed by the attack, the leopard ran towards the forest.

The two brothers then shouted and reported the incident to the neighbours and the grandmother rushed to the spot, after which they were admitted to the hospital. The leopard was also found dead by forest officials the very next day. The leopard is reported to have been taken to Sanjay Gandhi National Park for post-mortem.
