Shimla: A case is reported from the Shivpur Panchayat of Sangrah subdivision of Himachal's Sirmour district. It cost dearly for leopard to enter cow shelter. The leopard's courage was finally answered in a two-hour struggle with cattle. However, earlier he attacked and injured three women at different places in the village. In this, the injured women have been referred to the Medical College Nahan.

According to the information received, Leopard attacked the first three women and badly injured them. After this, the cattle were attacked, but in the Gaushala, two oxen and one cow killed the leopard. According to villagers, the leopard attacked 80-year-old Surato Devi of Tuheri village of Senj panchayat at around 10 pm. The leopard ran towards Shivpur village on the noise. Here, his wife Raksha Devi was attacked in Govind Singh's house. Where it came to know that after this the leopard entered the house of Satpal of this village and injured his wife Kamlesh. Late-night the leopard attacked Madan Singh's cattle. Hearing the sound of the cattle, Madan Singh closed the door of the gaushala and called the people for help.

It is also being said that Shivpur Panchayat Pradhan Kanthiram told that the leopard was killed by the cattle before opening the door but the condition of the cattle is also serious. DFO Shresthanand Sharma said that the matter is being investigated. Animal husbandry department officer Sangrah Dr. Amit Verma informed that the injured animals are being treated. Post-mortem of Leopard is being done.
