Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole allegedly called off their relationship, officially after having dated each other for around two years.  The couple got into a relationship in the year 2016 and also participated in the "celebrity couples split bandwagon". The couple made the official announcement regarding their separation on the Twitter. 

Liam wrote, "Cheryl and I are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It's been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together."

The couple met each other around a decade ago, on the sets of X-Factor. 

The couple became parents to a little baby boy in the year 2017 and named him Bear Payne. Previously there were reports that the couple is facing a low in their relationship since Liam has an extremely tight schedule and has to travel to different places, While, Cheryl has been at home since a long time, to take care of their son. This led to differences between the couple and has finally concluded with ending their much-adored relationship. 

At The Brit Awards 2018, while interacting with the media, Liam disagreed from any sort of rumours that talked about their differences and shared with the ES mgazine, "The funniest thing was a week before we were getting married. The next week we’re splitting up. And the thing for me is, I just like to think we’re somewhere in the middle. You know, we have our struggles — like of course, I’m not gonna sit here and say that everything’s absolutely fine and dandy, because of course you go through different things, and that’s what a relationship is. But we go through them together as a family and that’s the most important thing for me. Tell me a relationship in the world that doesn’t go through a spot like that?"

When Liam was being criticised for cheating on Cheryl, She jumped into his defence and said, "Oh stop. No one cares who’s been speculatively arguing or not in their relationships. Use your platform to put something productive in your columns. I opened a centre this week that could help thousands of youth!!!! ... Oh, and your “stunt” theories are just ludicrous and a bit weird."
