One of the most awaited movies of the year Liger has hit the theatre but the movie has failed to win the hearts of the audience. The film is receiving very Harsh reviews. People are calling it Disaster and Biggest Flop. Vijay Deverakonda is receiving criticism for his role but do you know the actor has received a whopping amount to play this role?

Speaking about its Box office collection Worldwide the film has opened to 24.5 crores which wasn't expected reportedly. However, the trade analyst had predicted a much higher number, while it's a good slow start and one never knows if the film will show improvement on the second day. As per some Trade Analyst Liger is counted as a 'paisa vasool film', well some call it a disaster.

Liger star Vijay Deverakonda  earlier in an interview  was asked about if his film became flop then the actor replied, "Had you asked me this question a few years back, I would have replied with anger. I would have been so angry. However, with the kind of love that I have received in the last few days, it would be a disrespect to that (love) if I react angrily to such small things around me. I want to remember the love. The audience is important, we work for them, and we travel cities just to meet them and we want to win their love."

Liger is a sports action drama directed by Puri Jagannath. It has been produced by none other than Karan Johar and stars Vijay Deverakonda alongside Ananya Panday in the lead roles. It was released on August 25. Vijay has essayed the character of an MMA player while Ananya played the role of his love interest. Ramya is seen as Vijay's mother in the movie. However, the film didn't pull the audience to the theatres.
