Jaipur: Lightning continues to fall from the sky in Rajasthan and this time the historic fort of Chittorgarh has been badly damaged by lightning. The Kirti pillar there was electrified, causing its stone weighing about 40 kg to collapse. But the damage here is not due to lightning, but due to negligence on the part of the administration, because the lightning conductor on the Kirti pillar was disabled.

State that it is a metal rod that is applied to protect high-rise buildings from lightning.  The Indian Department of Archaeology and Conservation guard told the media that the lightning struck around 7.30 pm. This broke the stone under the statue on the north side of the Kirti pillar. At the same time, it was later found that 2 peepal trees had also turned black and a large crater had been formed there. Tell you that there has been a thunderbolt on the Kirti pillar before.

On Wednesday also, six people were killed and more than 20 animals were killed in lightning strikes in different parts of Rajasthan. In the last four days, 28 people have lost their lives due to lightning in Rajasthan so far. Tell us that this week there was a thunderbolt at the watchtower at Amer Fort in Jaipur. It killed 11 people. It was reported that on July 12 that day, there was a thunderbolt several times in 40 minutes at the Amer Fort.
