She was five years 7 months and 17 days old when she gave birth to a son. This record is still recorded in the name of Lina Medina, a resident of the South American country of Peru.

Lina Medina was born on 27 September 1933 in Tricapo, Peru. She gave birth to a son when she was five years old. Seeing all this, the whole world was stunned that how a five-year-old girl can become a mother. It is said that when Lina was five years old, her stomach suddenly started growing bigger. At first, the family thought that it would be a tumour or a common disease. Due to this, the family members brought Lina to the doctor. During the investigation, the doctor found out that Lina was pregnant and about to give birth to the child.

After this investigation, the doctors were also taken aback. After which the team of doctors admitted Lina to the hospital. She then gave birth to a son on 14 May 1939. For which the doctors had to perform Lina's operation. Reports say that the son that Lina gave birth to was also healthy. Incidentally, the day Lina Medina gave birth to a child was celebrated as Mother's Day in the country. The answer to this question could not be found till today how Lina became a mother at such a young age. Medical science experts have not found the answer to this question till date. At the same time, that child of Lina lived for 40 years. Lina, who gave birth to a son, got married in the year 1972. She then spent her life in a nurse job.
