Los Angeles: Lindsay Lohan, an American actress and singer, is looking forward to spending Christmas with her husband, investor Bader Shammas, whom she married earlier this year.
After dating each other for two years, they exchanged wedding vows. According to Female First UK, Lohan said that she "loves" the holiday season and is eager to spend it with her husband and the rest of his family.
She said: "I adore the Christmas season and spending time with my entire family while enjoying all the cuisine. I'm looking forward to celebrating it this year with my spouse, my baby niece, and my entire family." The 'Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen' star, who debuted in the business as a young child playing the dual lead roles of twins Hallie Parker and Annie James in Disney hit 'The Parent Trap,' enjoyed enormous success in the 2000s with comedy 'Freaky Friday,' and cult classic 'Mean Girls,' but decided to step back from the business almost a decade ago due to personal reasons, has reportedly made a comeback to screens in holiday.
She told Hello magazine: "It seemed like it had been only yesterday since I had produced a film, not nearly ten years. I just adore all the physical humour in rom-coms, as well as the love narrative and family dynamics." She continued, "I truly hope that [the movie] brings people together to have a wonderful time viewing it and that it provides people some joy and a distraction from everything that is going on right now."
