New Delhi: This news means a lot to you if you are an account holder PF. Now EPFO institution is going to put interest money in the PF account soon, for which you have to know the essentials. The Central Government has released funds equivalent to 8.5 percent interest amount for PF accounts. If you have not done this work related to the PF account, you may not get the amount of interest in the account.
According to media reports, the fund released by the Central Government as interest for PF accounts may be credited to the accounts this month, but this will happen only if you have linked your PF account with Aadhaar number. State that the Government has made aadhaar verification and seeding mandatory in PF accounts. This linking process has to be completed before September 1.
EPFO has about 22 crore accounts, out of which 6 crore accounts are being reported from PF alone. EPFO subscribers will have to link their UAN number to the aadhaar card number to get interested in the PF amount. This can be done online or directly to the office on the EPFO's website. Help in this regard can also be sought from your employer. The period was extended to September 1 by issuing an order on July 15.
