New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has made another arrest on Tuesday (May 16) in Delhi's famous liquor scam case. CBI has now caught Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) worker Charanpreet Singh. After that Charanpreet Singh was produced in Rouse Avenue Court. Where CBI had asked for 5 days custody of Singh. However, the court granted custody for 2 days and sent him to custody till 18 May.

Let us inform that, before this, the lawyer of AAP leader Charanpreet Singh took arguments in the court. He said- Charanjit is only 26 years old and has joined the investigation whenever he was called. Pressure is being made on him by the investigating agencies regarding the statement. Threatened in front of his father. The lawyer also told the court that during the investigation he was called as a witness and not as an accused.

At the same time, the CBI has alleged that Delhi resident Charanpreet Singh was collecting money from hawala operators and distributing these money at different places during AAP's Goa assembly election (2022) campaign. Let us tell you that last week the CBI arrested media officer Arvind Kumar Singh for allegedly transferring Rs 17 crore to Chariot Media. Chariot Media was handling the campaign of AAP during the Goa elections.
