New Delhi: CBI has filed a petition in Rouse Avenue Court to make accused Dinesh Arora a government witness in Delhi's famous liquor scam case. The hearing on the application began in the court of Special CBI Judge MK Nagpal in Rouse Avenue Court. During this, accused Dinesh Arora was also present in the courtroom. Dinesh Arora said that an application was made on my behalf by my lawyer RK Thakur on November 1, 2022. I am ready to become a government witness voluntarily.

Dinesh Arora further said that I will put all the facts related to this matter before the court. I will also tell all the truth regarding my role in the context of the allegations against me in this case. Dinesh Arora said that I have been cooperating in the investigation also and will continue to do so. I have given some statements before the investigating officer. I have also given the confession statement in the court of ACMM. After this, the court asked Dinesh Arora whether there was any pressure on him or was there any threat from the CBI. 

On this, Dinesh Arora said that he is voluntarily becoming a government witness. Whatever information he has related to this matter, he is ready to tell. Dinesh Arora said that his statement should be recorded on camera (in a closed room). The disclosure statement of Dinesh Arora will be recorded on November 14 in the liquor scam case. Let us tell you that Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia is also an accused in the liquor scam and in such a situation, Dinesh becoming a government witness can create problems for him.
