1.64 crore earned in just one day after the opening of liquor shops in Tamil Nadu. This led to a man being seen worshipping a bottle of wine outside a contract in Madurai. The video is going viral on social media. The man lit a earthen lamp on the steps of the shop and started worshipping after buying bottles.

 

 

The Tamil Nadu government has extended the statewide lockdown till June 29. However, the State Government has opened liquor shops in 27 cities for a limited time. After the government's order, shops opened and everyone came there to buy liquor. One of them was seen worshipping alcohol.

Some persons present in the liquor shop recorded the entire incident. The video has now gone viral on social media. Since lockdowns and restrictions for control of corona came into force, a number of strange incidents related to alcohol have been reported across the country. Earlier in April, an elderly woman who had come to Delhi to buy liquor had become the talk of the town. What she said about alcohol had gone viral on social media. Out of 5,338 shops in Tamil Nadu, 2,900 have reopened on Monday.
