List of 30-star campaigners for Champawat by-election announced, these big names surfaced

Dehradun: Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and former national president Rahul Gandhi are likely to come for campaigning in the Champawat by-election. The two leaders are named in the list of 30-star campaigners released by Congress on Monday. State Congress General Secretary Organisation Vijay Saraswat said that among the party's star campaigners are former party national president Rahul Gandhi, national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and national general secretary  KC Venugopal, National General Secretary Mukul Wasnik, National General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala will also come to the campaign.  

State in-charge Devendra Yadav, state president Karan Mahra, leader of opposition Yashpal Arya, former CM Harish Rawat, co-incharge Rajesh Dharmani, MP Pradeep Tamta, former Deputy CM of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot, national secretary Qazi Nizamuddin, former state president Pritam Singh, former state president Ganesh Godiyal, former assembly speaker Govind Singh Kunjwal, former minister Dr Harak Singh Rawat, MLA Mayukh Mahar, former MP Mahendra Singh Mahra, MLA Tilak Raj Behad, MLA Aadesh Chauhan, MLA Gopal Singh Rana, MLA Sumit Hridayesh, former MLA Ranjit Singh Rawat, former national secretary Prakash Joshi, state general secretary organisation Vijay Saraswat, state president, Youth Congress Sumittar Bhullar, state president Mahila Congress Jyoti Rautela, state president Congress Seva Dal Rajesh Rastogi and state president NSUI Mohan Bhandari are in the list of star campaigners.

Congress General Secretary Organisation Vijay Saraswat said that the party's official candidate Nirmala Gahtori will file her nomination on May 11 in the Champawat by-election. Party's state in-charge Devender Yadav, state president Karan Mahra, leader of opposition Yashpal Arya, former CM Harish Rawat, all MLA of the party, senior leaders and workers including state office bearers will be present in the nomination. He said that the election schedules of national leaders will be scheduled soon for campaigning.
