3.IDDC, IIT-Delhi

The Instrument Design and Development Centre in IIT-Delhi offers Master in Design (M.Des) for graduates and Sathiyaseelan Gangasalam, head of styling at Ashok Leyland and visiting faculty of Launchpad Academy is an alumni of this institute.

4.Centre for Product Design and Manufacturing (CPDM), IISc

If you are looking for an active research program in Design, you want to be in CPDM department of IISc, Bangalore, the only place in India offering a course of this kind. Apart from Design Research programs the institute also offers M.Des for graduates. Airbus, Crompton Greaves, General Motors are few of the major recruiters of CPDM.

5.Department of Design- IIT Guwahati

6.MAEER?s MIT Institute of Design

7.Srishti School of Design

8.DSK International School of Design

Located in Pune, DSK ISD is the sister college of ISD, France and is the only international design school in India. The institute offers certification programs in Design for both graduate and undergraduate design students.

9.DYPDC

DilipChhabria, sounds familiar right? DilipChhabria, famous Indian automobile designer is one of the co-founders ofDYPDC, located in Pune and also the head faculty of theinstitute. DYPDC offers undergraduate programs in Designand also a PG diploma course.

10.Raffles Millennium International

Located in Bangalore, Raffles offers undergraduate degree and diploma courses in Design the only design college in India that allows for inter-college transfer credits.Note that all of the above mentioned best design schools in India consider your portfolio as the main criteria for admission and it is necessary that you have the required score in design entrance exams such as CEED and NEED.
