Photo sharing platform is coming up with new updates every now and then giving enhanced experience to the users. Recently, on October 27 Instagram has that it has extended the time limit for live streams from 60 minutes to four hours. This change is a global one and is applicable to all users. This change is applicable to accounts "in good standing," with no history of IP or policy violations. An option to archieve the live broadcasts for a maximum of 30 days is also included. 

Instagram to alter the nudity policy, warm welcomed change

The reason stated behind the move as said by  Instagram, is helping creators like yoga instructors, musicians, artists, cooks, and similar persons to do longer sessions with their audience without being interrupted every hour.  "Now your live videos will be kept in your archive. Only you can see them. After your live videos end, they will be available in your archive for 30 days. You can download your live videos to your device or upload them to IGTV from your archive," reads a notice that will be shown to users during the launch.

Instagram company said that it is updating the `Live Now` section on IGTV and at the end of a live stream, and has an idea to provide related contents that may interest them, both from the creators they follow, and those they don`t.
