The Jeep Wrangler has been on sale since August 2019, it was brought in as a CBU. The booking of the Jeep India have commenced from today.

Jeep’s off-roader was previously brought in as a CBU – under the law that allowed the import and sale of 2,500 vehicles a year without them having to be homologated and priced starts from Rs 63.94-68.94 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The fourth-gen Wrangler Unlimited was available in the Sahara trim and in five-door guise. Standard kit includes a 7.0-inch multi-info display, an 8.4-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, a tyre-pressure monitoring system, rear AC vents and multiple 12V sockets and USB ports. 

It also come with  infotainment screen also displayed a variety of off-roading relevant details, from axle status and steering angle to the altitude, longitude and latitude. Pitch and roll angles are also displayed. Four airbags, ABS with EBS, front and rear parking sensors, a rear parking camera, ESC, electronic roll mitigation, traction control and hill-start and descent control are the safety specifications on offer.
A 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine making 268hp and 400Nm of torque, paired to an 8-speed torque-converter automatic, powered all four wheels of the Wrangler.
