The BCCI has not planned to organize training camps for its contracted players despite the approval to open the sports complex and stadium. According to the guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs released on Sunday, sports complexes and stadiums can be opened during the extended lockdown till May 31, but spectators will not be allowed to come. However, with the opening of the stadium, players can start personal training only.

Contract players will not be able to participate: BCCI Treasurer Arun Dhumal said in a press release issued late on Monday, "Keeping in mind the restrictions on air travel and movement of people till 31 May, BCCI is providing skill-set for its contracted players. He said that the safety of the players was paramount for the board.
