If you want to go to the market for shopping today, do not leave the house at all. Today the market will be closed. Only petrol pumps, dairy, fruit and vegetable and medical stores will open. The order was issued by District Collector Dr. Ashish Kumar Srivastava on 19 May. Under which all the establishments of the city were to be opened only for six days from Monday to Saturday. The district official said that the lockdown -4.0 has been extended till May 31 in the district. As a result, the city's markets are to be opened six days a week from seven in the morning to four in the evening. On Sunday, all establishments will be closed except petrol pumps, dairy, fruit-vegetable shops and medical stores. In the meantime, if a shopkeeper opens his shop or establishment, action will be taken against him under the Disaster Management Act, and from Monday to Saturday, the market will open like before. The Collector has appealed to the people to stay at their home.

At the same time, if any suspect or home quarantined person is found violating the rules, then inform the police-administration about it. The name of the informer will be kept confidential. The Niranjanpur vegetable market will now be open for retail traders from 2 am on Wednesday. Work will start from 4 pm on Tuesday for vehicles coming from adhatiyas and the outer state. The entire mandi complex would be sanitized several times during the bandh. On the other hand, due to lack of information, a large number of farmers and traders also reached Mandi on Saturday. The market remained partially open till 11 am. On Friday, a large area of the market was sealed after receiving Corona positive patients. It was also decided to keep the market closed till Tuesday evening. But during this time, there were a large number of fruit and vegetable vehicles, which had gone from other states to Doon.

Many such vehicles were in the middle way, which reached from late Friday to Saturday morning. Niranjanpur Mandi Committee President Rajesh Sharma allowed them to take off the goods due to the possibility of spoilage of fruits and vegetables. Apart from this, many local farmers also reached Mandi with their produce. In view of the problem of farmers, they were also allowed to sell goods. A large number of retail traders also arrived at the market to buy more goods in view of the next three days of captivity. During this time the whole area was also sanitized. Rajesh Sharma said that after 11 am the market complex of Mandi has been completely closed. Now on Tuesday evening, entry will be given to vehicles coming from outside, local farmers and jobbers. The market will be open for retail traders from 4 am on Wednesday.
