Kochi: A lodge receptionist was killed by some assailants in Kerala's Thiruvantapuram in broad daylight. However, it is not yet clear what was the reason behind the murder. According to the information, the incident is of the City Tower Hotel of Overbridge. Police have informed that the deceased has been identified as Ayyappan, a resident of Nagercoil in Thiruvananthapuram.
It is being told that in the morning, some assailants came on a bike and thrashed Ayyappan badly. The attackers did not stop there, they also smashed her head on the table. Due to this painful beating, Ayyappan died on the spot. When the police scanned the CCTV footage installed in the lodge, they found that the attackers had come here with the intention of killing.
According to the information, only Ayyappan and a room boy of the hotel were present at the time of the attack. The murder came to light when the room boy came back after throwing the garbage. He saw Ayyappan soaked in blood. He then reported it to the hotel owner. According to the owner of the lodge and his wife, they had met Ayyappan a day earlier. He said that Ayyappan had no problem nor did she share any of her problems with them.
