There are many such forts still present in India, which are famous for some reason and one such fort was built-in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, which is called 'Fort of Lohagarh (Lohagarh)'. This fort is also called the only invincible fort of India because no one has ever won it. Even the British had succumbed to it. Let us tell you that this fort was constructed 285 years ago i.e. on February 19, 1733, by Jaat ruler Maharaja Suraj Mal. Since the prevalence of cannon and gunpowder was very high at that time, and therefore a special kind of experiment was made in making this fort so that gunpowder was ineffective.
At the time of the construction of this fort, a wide and strong stone high wall was built, so that the cannons do not have any impact on them, for this hundred feet wide mud wall was built around these walls and below A deep and wide moat was filled with water. Therefore, even if the enemy has crossed the water, it is not impossible to climb on the flat wall.
It was not easy for anyone to attack the fort, it is because the cannonballs were drowned in the mortar wall and their fire would also cool down. So that no kind of damage was done to the fort and that is why the enemies could never enter the fort. It is said that the British attacked it 13 times to capture this fort. Hundreds of cannon shells were lashed here by the British Army, although those had no effect on the fort. No one succeeded in penetrating the fort even once out of 13. It is said that the British army, frustrated by repeated defeats, had left from there. According to the British historian James Tad, the most important thing about this fort is that it had walls, which are made of mud, but despite this, conquering this fort was nothing less than chewing iron.
