Rewa: Meanwhile, the investigation into the property of Sudha Singh, a woman sarpanch of Baijnath village in Rewa district, has been completed. The Sarpanch got assets worth more than Rs 19 crore. The Lokayukta team got 72 land documents while searching at midnight. Lokayukta officials were also tired of flipping their pages. As per stamp duty, the price of these lands is about Rs. 8 crores.
More than 12 crore properties were earlier revealed till 5 pm on Tuesday. It included two luxurious bungalows worth 3.5 crore rupees. A bungalow is built on an acre, including a garden and swimming pool. 30 vehicles have been recovered from the four locations including two houses and two crushers. Jewelry worth Rs 20 lakh of gold and silver was also recovered from the house.
Lokayukta SP Rajendra Kumar Verma said a 40-member team was deployed at both places on Tuesday. The action was taken under the leadership of DSP DS Maravi from 4 am to 3 pm at the house at Shardapuram colony in the city. A team of Inspector Paramendra Singh Parihar led by DSP Praveen Singh Parihar was examining the documents from 4 am to 10.30 pm in Baijnath village.
