At the same time, JD(U), an ally of the government, has announced that it will not support the bill. However, other opposition parties have not clarified their stand on the bill. While the NDA has great confidence in the NEW Lok Sabha, the opposition has lost its morale. It can be gauged from the fact that even a day before the session, Congress has not been able to elect its leader in the Lok Sabha.
