Loktak Elementary Floating School Is India's First Elementary School whose inauguration was recently done in Langolsabi Leikai of Champu Khangpok floating village on Loktak Lake in Manipur.
The school is one of its kind which provides education to drop outs students as well as the adults who are illiterate.For now, it will hire 2 faculties and a sum of 40 students from class 1st to 3rd.
This Floating School was made under the collaboration with All Loktak Lake Fisherman’s Union with the support of an NGO People Resources Development Association (PRDA).
