Los Angeles: Jennifer Lopez, a singer and actress, recently revealed a brand-new musical project called "This Is Mea... Now," set for release in 2023.
" it will be the singer's first full-length project in eight years, reports "
Lopez released a track listing for her upcoming album, which includes the title "Dear Ben Pt. II," presumably a follow-up to the album's earlier single "Dear Ben," along with a video that depicts her in her "This Is Me Then" phase 20 years ago before changing into the J.Lo of today.
According to the news release for the album, "This Is Me... Now" depicts Jennifer Lopez's emotional, spiritual, and psychological journey over the past 20 years, ushering in a new age of music for her. "In a project unlike any she has ever produced, she writes and sings about her life and experiences in a way that will speak to all of us. Additionally, other extremely personal projects that will be launched next year will be influenced by these autobiographical stories from the album; more to come on that. The album is said to address issues like Lopez's difficult upbringing, her failed relationships, and "the extraordinary emotional trip she has been on... " This album is a philosophy, a reflection, and a snapshot of the times. The release concludes, "It's about hope, faith, and real love never dying.
The singer previously stated to Vogue that the upcoming album will be "the most honest work she has ever done." She added that she hoped to construct a world for the album in the style of Pink Floyd's "The Wall," but with love as its central theme.
Lopez was at the centre of popular culture in 2002. Regardless of how the general public felt about her, the Bronx native has dabbled in many areas of the entertainment world. When she was linked to co-star Ben Affleck, the media's lust for her was further stoked.
Today exactly 20 years ago, Jennifer Lopez's 13-song third studio album, "This Is Me... Then," was released. It paved the way for top-charting singles like "Jenny from the Block" and "All I Have" to follow. A song about Bennifer's romance was also included in the collection, and both the CD sleeve and the dedication to the actor thanked him for serving as the song's inspiration.
