There are many stories of the great Hindu book Ramayana that you will not be aware of. The Ramayana should be read by all because it teaches a lot of things. Well we all know that Hanuman was the greatest and dearest devotee of Lord Ram. But there was something that happened when Shri Ram agreed to kill Hanumanji. Today we are going to tell you the story of the same incident. Let us know.
Katha- Once all the great saints and Brahmins attended the meeting. Great scholars like DevRishi Narada, Vashishta Vishwamitra had gathered to discuss whether Ram's name was bigger than the existence of Shri Lord Ram. Sankat Mochan Hanuman was also present in the same House but he was not speaking. Silently, in silence, he was listening carefully to the discussion of the Munigans. Narada believed that Lord Ram's name was bigger than Lord Ram himself and claimed to prove it. Now that the discussion is over, it is time for all the saints to leave.
Naradji secretly asked Hanuman to felicitate all the rishis except Vishwamitra. The argument was that Vishwamitra was a king. Hanuman took turns greeting everyone but deliberately ignored Vishwamitra as Narada had explained. Vishwamitra was furious to see his ridicule. They were furious. Vishwamitra pledged to pay death penalty for this mistake of Ram bhakta Hanuman. Lord Ram loved Hanuman very much but Vishwamitra was also his guru. Ram decided to execute Hanuman so that the guru's command could not be avoided. When Hanuman came to know that Shri Ram was coming to kill him, he did not understand why this was happening.
Then Rishi Narada advised him to keep chanting the name Ram. Hanuman Jai Shri Ram, sitting under a tree, started chanting Jai Shri Ram. As soon as Ram tuneed, he became absorbed in deep meditation. When Lord Ram reached there, he started shooting arrows to attack Hanuman. But not a single hair of the son of Pawan, absorbed in the name of Ram, could be dandy. When Shri Ram saw this, he was confused. He thought to myself, "Can't anyone spoil the devotee who is chanting my name?" Seeing his arrows fail, Lord Ram also tried many weapons, but all failed before Hanuman.
Because Shri Ram had to follow the word of his guru. Lord Ram then used the Prayalankari Brahmastra. Brahmastra also did not affect Hanuman while chanting the name of Lord Ram. Seeing the cataclysm-like crisis on earth, Narada went to Vishwamitra and told the truth. Vishwamitra then freed Ram from the word and Devrishi Narada proved that the name Ram himself was more powerful than Lord Rama.
