BJP blooming again in UP-Uttarakhand and Goa, closes to majority in Manipur

Lucknow: The election results of five states, including Uttar Pradesh, are being declared today. The counting of votes has started at 8 am, initially, the ballot papers were counted and then the counting of EVMs has started. Tight security has been put in place at different places for the counting of votes and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has got a majority in the trends in Uttar Pradesh. In the trends, the BJP has crossed 250, while the SP's cycle is still at the 90 mark. If these trends change into results, it will be the first time in UP that a party will come to power for the second time in a row with an absolute majority. 

After UP, the BJP is also seen getting a majority in Uttarakhand and Goa, in both the places in the trends, the BJP has crossed the seat required to form the government.  While the BJP seems to be getting a majority here. In Uttarakhand, the BJP has taken a lead in 38 seats, the Congress 21 and others in 5 seats. 

If we talk about Goa, then the BJP is also seen to be touching the majority here, in Goa,  the BJP has taken a lead in 20 seats and the majority mark here is 21. In Goa, Congress is leading in 14 seats. Of Manipur's 60 seats, BJP is leading in 28 and Congress in 9.
