Bhopal: In Madhya Pradesh, at present, a new freedom act has been formed against love jihad. In this case, 23 cases have been filed in 23 days under this new independence act 2020. In Madhya Pradesh, the ordinance of Religious Freedom Act 2020 has been implemented in the state from 9 January. According to the information received recently, 23 cases have been filed in Madhya Pradesh from January 9 to January 31 under the new law. He has told through his tweet that 23 cases of love jihad have been registered in Madhya Pradesh since January, the maximum 7 in Bhopal division, 5 in Indore, 4 in Jabalpur and Rewa under the new law in the state. FIR has been registered in 4 and 3 cases in Gwalior division. He has also said in his tweet, 'We were already saying that there are some forces which are doing such work.'

He has also said in a tweet, 'Madhya Pradesh government's legal initiative to curb the greed and intimidation forces for conversion in Madhya Pradesh has started showing meaningful results under the Freedom of Religion Act. A total of 23 cases have been registered in January.' There is a provision of imprisonment ranging from three years to ten years for violating the Religion Freedom of Information Act by hiding your religion in MP. A provision has been fixed for the imprisonment of 50 thousand rupees and imprisonment of 5 to 10 years and fine of one lakh rupees for attempting mass conversions.
