Maharashtra: These days the issue of love jihad has intesified. Everyone is talking about it. You must be aware that preparations have been started to make a law on love jihad in BJP ruled states and seeing this, Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut has targeted BJP. Recently, he has attacked  BJP without naming it.

In a statement, he said, 'This issue is being made for the elections in Bengal, while no one is discussing development'. He said in a conversation with a website, there is a lot of discussion about 'Love Jihad' in the country. I think this is a serious matter. West Bengal elections are coming, so a new topic should be brought to the fore. We believe that development is a major issue for elections, but 'Love Jihad' will be discussed in the country. '

Along with this he also said, 'Some people are raising this issue in Maharashtra as well. Asking us when will we bring a law? I spoke to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray today, I would like to say that when Nitish ji will implement this law in Bihar. Then we will examine it and then think about it for Maharashtra. ' However, before him, Maharashtra Minister Aslam Sheikh gave a statement on Love Jihad. He had said- 'All these things are coming out only where the governments want to hide their inefficiencies. Governments that want to hide their inefficiencies are bringing in such laws. The Maharashtra government is doing its job efficiently and there is no need to bring such laws.
