Love Jihad victim Neetu's body found hanging, UP Police started investigation

Lucknow: A woman named Neetu Yadav has allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in the Loni area of Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad district. The deceased was a victim of love jihad in the year 2021. She had also lodged a complaint with the Baghpat police against her ex-husband Akram Qureshi in November 2021. Along with this, the dispute of the deceased is also being told with a person named Iqbal living in his own neighbourhood. Neetu's body was recovered from her house on May 18, 2022 (Wednesday).

According to reports, Neetu Yadav's ex-husband Akram Qureshi met her by giving her a fake name. After marriage, Qureshi forcibly pressed to become a Muslim. Swarajya's journalist Swati Goel Sharma claimed to have spoken to Neetu 20 days ago. She has expressed surprise at a woman like Neetu taking a step like this. According to media reports, Neetu was 32 years old. She lived with her family in Loni's Premnagar area.  

After Akram Qureshi, Neetu married a man named Manish Gupta. At present, Manish and Neetu were living separately. A few days ago, Neetu had a quarrel with Iqbal of the colony itself. After this quarrel, he also tried to kill Neetu by hanging herself. Then the people of the house had saved Neetu. Now, after Neetu's death, the police are investigating the entire case.
