These days the cases of suicide are increasing day by day. In yet another shocking incident a 27-year-old man died by suicide in social media live after his girlfriend refused to marry him. The shocking incident comes to light in Assam’s Silchar.

As per the information, the 27-year-old man took the extreme step on Monday while live- on Facebook. He has been identified as Jaydeep Roy. He was a medical sales professional. During Facebook's life he cited his girlfriend's refusal to marry him as the reason to end his life. He also said that his girlfriend took the decision not to marry him under pressure from her family. The deceased family is accusing his girlfriend's family of Roy's death.

As per the information, the man ended his life by hanging in his rented room in Silchar. Notably, his family lived in Kalain, which is nearby. In facebook live the deceased said, "I sent a formal proposal of marriage but, in front of everyone, she refused. Later her uncle came to me and said they will kill her because of our relationship. Now I am leaving this world so that she doesn't suffer because of me."

In Facebook live the deceased apologize the mother and other family members for ending his life. Joy stated that he loved his girlfriend more than his family and could not live without her. The deceased's elder brother said that his family would go to the Silchar police station. The deceased's brother accused the woman's family of pressuring Roy of taking the extreme step

The Deceased Brother said, "The woman's family pressured my brother to take the drastic step. Her uncle threatened to kill her. My brother was a good man and was taking care of our whole family. He earned well, so I don't understand what the problem was for the woman's family,".
