In the  Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships going on in Kathmandu yesterday the India's Lovepreet Singh won a bronze medal. In the 105 kg men junior category he got third place.

Lovepreet lifted 151 kgs in snatch and 180 kgs in clean and jerk to clinch the bronze medal. In total, he lifted 331 kgs. With his win, it is India's fourth medal in the championships.

On the first day of championships, India's KonsamOrmila Devi had won gold in 44 kg women youth category. S. Nirupama Devi had won bronze in 69 kgs women youth category on Wednesday. Ajay Singh also won a bronze medal in 77 kg men junior category on Thursday.
