Nagpur: In a shocking incident, a girl refused to marry her boyfriend in Nagpur, Maharashtra. As soon as he rejected the marriage proposal given by the lover, the lover got angry and set fire to the girlfriend's father's shop and mini truck. Police have arrested the culprit.   

On Tuesday, police said the man set ablaze his girlfriend's father's mini truck and vegetable shop in Waghoda village of Nagpur district. He had an extra-marital affair with his girlfriend. The man has been arrested. Police said the criminal and the woman have been in a relationship for the past seven months.  

According to the police, when his wife came to know about her husband's illicit relationship, she left him, after which, the husband approached his girlfriend for marriage. When the man asked his girlfriend to marry, she also refused to marry. Subsequently, in a fit of rage, the man set his father's shop and mini truck on fire. Police said that a case has been registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the culprit has been arrested.
