Visakhapatnam: Low pressure continues in the west central Bay of Bengal. The Met Office said the storm was expected to intensify in the next 48 hours. Light to moderate rains are expected in the coastal areas and heavy showers are likely in one or two places. There seems to be a chance of light to moderate rains in Rayalaseema. Fishermen have been warned not to go hunting as strong winds of 40-50 kmph are expected along the coast.

The state health department on Saturday issued a health bulletin on Corona. According to which the cases of corona in Andhra Pradesh are very less. During the last 24 hours , 69,088 corona diagnostic tests were conducted and 1,535 new corona cases were registered. In the last 24 hours, 16 people have died due to corona virus infection in the state. Recently 2,075 corona victims have recovered and been discharged. So far 2,55,95,949 corona diagnostic tests have been performed in the state.

So far 19,60,350 corona victims have recovered in the state. In addition, the corona epidemic killed a total of 13,631 people. There are currently 18,210 positive cases in the state. There are 19,92,191 corona victims in the state so far.
