New Delhi: Lockdown has been announced across the country in view of the threat of Coronavirus. All businesses have come to a standstill, but there are some things whose demand has increased a lot. In fact, according to media reports, an increase of 200 per cent has been registered in booking LPG since Sunday. However, you do not need to panic at all, as the oil marketing companies have assured that the supply of LPG cylinders will be normal during the 21-day national lockdown.

There is no need to make a booking for any customer. In a tweet from Indian Oil Corp (IOC), the company has said, "We are taking all necessary precautions while smoothly supplying Indane LPG cylinders. Delivery of cylinders will continue as per normal orders."

Bharat Petroleum (BPCL) has stated that its LPG distributors are operational. In such a situation, to ensure the supply of LPG cylinders, work is going on in the company's plant round the clock. BPCL has asked consumers not to book in any kind of panic. BPCL states that "We will deliver LPG cylinders to your doorstep to assist you in this time of crisis. There is no need to panic and make a booking"
