Muzaffarnagar, In an incident the LPG cylinder exploded in Akbarpur village in Shamli district in which a 10 year old boy was killed.The dead was identified as Mubarak.

According to the police, "mishap occurred under Kairana police station area yesterday when the LPG cylinder caught fire while his mother, Zahida, was preparing food in the kitchen".

LP Gas cylinders do not explode easily and nor do they explode on their own. The requirements for a cylinder to "explode" or experience failure is related to heat.
