L&T Finance Holdings on Monday said its board has approved raising of up to Rs 3,000 crore through a rights issue. As per the regulatory filing made with the Stock Exchanges, L&T Finance Holdings said, "The board approved the offer and issuance of fully paid-up equity shares of the company for an amount not exceeding Rs 3,000 crore by way of a rights issue to the eligible equity shareholders of the company,"
The company said details of the rights issue, including price and entitlement ratio, will be determined in due course.
On Monday, during the mid-noon hours of stock trading, shares of L&T Finance Holdings Ltd were quoting 0.74 percent lower at Rs 67.15 per share on the National Stock Exchange. In comparison, the BSE Sensex stood higher at 42317, up by 424 points, while the NSE Nifty clocked at 12382, up by 120 points.
