Srinagar: After becoming the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha has made several big announcements for the state for the first time today. Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha has announced a package of crores of rupees for the state on Saturday. He has announced an economic package of Rs 1,350 crore for the businessmen of Jammu and Kashmir facing the crisis.

With this, 50 percent of water and electricity bills have been waived for one year for Jammu and Kashmir. Announcing the announcement, the Lieutenant Governor said that I am happy to announce an economic package of Rs 1,350 crore for the businessmen of the state facing economic difficulties. This is in addition to the advantages of self-sufficient India and other measures to facilitate traders.

The Lieutenant Governor has also announced a 50 percent discount on electricity-water bills to the residents of the valley for one year. In Jammu and Kashmir, 50 percent concession will be given for up to one year in electricity and water bills. Apart from this, in the case of all the debt holders in Jammu and Kashmir, exemption in stamp duty has been given till March 2021. The J&K Bank will set up a custom health-tourism scheme to provide financial assistance to the people in the tourism sector with good pricing repayment options.
