Lucknow: The mercury is on the rise these days over next year's UP assembly elections. Samajwadi Party President and former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav lashed out at the BJP at a meeting of prominent traders last Saturday evening. Meanwhile, former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said, "Samajwadi Party will be with the traders with all sincerity. The BJP is bent on impoverishing the country by selling government properties.''

At the same time, he said, "The BJP is deceiving the countrymen for the benefit of a few capitalists. The safety and dignity of traders are safe in the SP government itself.'' In the meeting, Akhilesh Yadav said, "BJP has developed itself as soon as it comes to power. The BJP has cheated the people in all three elections in 2014, 2017, and 2019. The BJP government has hollowed out the country. It is because of the BJP's economy that the entire economy has gone into the abyss.''

At the same time, he also said, "It is the SP that follows the path of development. With the formation of the Socialist Government in 2022, the problems of the traders will be solved immediately. Development has come to a standstill due to the BJP. The BJP has done injustice to the farmers of Ayodhya. It is in the Socialist Government that the farmers will be fully protected.''

He also said, ''Farmers and traders complement each other. The BJP has hurt both of them. The BJP government destroyed the traders of Ayodhya. Their suffering is being ignored. The unity of the country is paramount. One should be against what is not with the Constitution. That is patriotism. You have cheated the country. Because the policies of the BJP are anti-national. The BJP is trying to loot the people all around. The lives of retail and small traders are on the verge of starvation. The people are suffering from inflation and corruption.''
