On Wednesday, SP President Akhilesh Yadav reached Raj Bhavan and held a courtesy call on Governor Anandiben Patel. Meanwhile, Akhilesh Yadav informed the Governor about the incident of Unnao rape case.

According to media reports, after meeting the Governor, Akhilesh Yadav said that the family of the Unnao rape victim is deeply saddened. The victim's family is unable to rely on governance. The family has struggled from day one to day one to file a report. He said the victim's family wants justice. Hopefully, the government will deliver justice. The Samajwadi Party will continuously raise voices to bring justice to the victim and her family. Akhilesh said that a memorandum was also submitted to the Governor on the issue of Azam Khan. Akhilesh along with Rajendra Chaudhary and Ahmed Hasan were also present.

On Tuesday, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav reached KGMU and assured to visit the victim and help the family members. He assured the victims that the Samajwadi Party will fight the fight for justice. He also gave a cheque of Rs 10 lakh for the treatment of the victim on behalf of the party. The victim's lawyer also helped to treat Rs 5 lakh. He also attacked the state government, saying the incident took place on the day of the Home Minister's stay in Lucknow. The CHIEF is not trustworthy. The government knows everything but the victim is not able to get justice. He told BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar that the jailed MLA should be sent to a jail outside the state.
