Lucknow: If you live in Lucknow and travel by metro, this news is going to be very special to you. In fact, the monkey menace at Lucknow Metro stations is rampant and this is causing a lot of inconvenience to the passengers travelling in the Metro. Now, Lucknow metro has come up with a new way to deal with the same problem. In fact, cutouts of langurs have been installed at metro stations so that monkeys do not enter the metro stations and passengers do not face any problem. According to a report by a famous website, cutouts of langurs have been installed at nine stations of Lucknow Metro to scare monkeys.

Metro stations are said to have been selected for this purpose, which have the highest monkey menace. This was recently informed by Station Controller Vivek Mishra. He explained that "first we made the sounds of 'angry langurs' to drive away the monkeys. It made some impact, but it was not effective for long. Therefore, it was decided to display the cutouts. If voices are played with cutouts, the effect is worth seeing.''

At the same time, he also said, "We are constantly changing the position of cutouts. This idea of the Lucknow metro administration to stop monkeys is very interesting.'' On the one hand, the cutouts with pictures of langurs and on the other hand, the angry voices of the langurs are entertaining the people. So, the impact of these cutouts is beginning to show and the number of monkeys coming to the stations has come down after the langur's cutouts.
