Lucknow: Indira Nagar police in Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow have arrested Abid Hawari, originally from Azamgarh, and revealed a shocking case of love jihad. Police have arrested the accused Abid Hawari under serious sections. Giving details of the case, Inspector Ajay Prakash Tripathi of Indiranagar police station in Lucknow said that a young woman from Indira Nagar had complained that Abid Hawari had trapped her by naming her as Aditya Singh and cheated her by calling himself the inspector of Lucknow Crime Branch.

The accused Abid Hawari not only raped the girl by calling himself A Hindu Aditya Singh but has also cheated the girl of Rs 15 lakh so far. He also stayed with the girl for a few days as a fake inspector. Meanwhile, one day, seeing his mobile, the victim came to know his reality. The girl came to know from the mobile that the accused Abid is a resident of Azamgarh and has a wife there. She also has 5 children. At the same time, in Orchha, Madhya Pradesh, she has married a Hindu girl calling himself Inspector Aditya Singh.

After the victim came to know all these information, she came to know about the fraud. He then lodged a complaint against Abid at Indiranagar police station. According to the report, Abid was engaged in converting girls after marriage. Abid's inspector's uniform, a police monogram bike and pictures sitting in the inspector's office were the only things that trapped the girls earlier. According to media reports, several cases of love jihad were reportedly reported in Uttar Pradesh during the past few days. In Kanpur district alone, 11 cases of love jihad and forced conversion are being investigated.
