Lucknow: The Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh has launched Super Saver Card for Lucknow Metro. Passenger Mishi Sahai bought the first card at the airport station. With this card, you can travel in metro for a whole month for just Rs 1400. For this, Chief Secretary Durgashankar Mishra released a new purple smart card 'Super Saver' on Tuesday. At the same time, after the card was issued, a female passenger Mishi became the first cardholder at the airport station when the sale started in the afternoon.

The Chief Secretary launched this card from his office in the presence of UPMRC MD Kumar Keshav. MD says that this card can be bought for 1500 rupees. Out of this, Rs 100 will be deposited as security. At the same time, it will be mandatory to do a recharge of Rs 1400 after 30 days. This card will be very beneficial for the regular commuters of Metro. It can be recharged online, at the station counter or from the ticket vending machine.

Metro officials say that a traveler buys an average ticket of Rs 40 per day for a one-way journey. In such a situation, he has to pay 80 rupees for the journey on both sides. That is, in 30 days, his entire expenditure was about 2400 rupees. In this case, he will save 1000 rupees per month.
