The first industrial park of the tenure of Yogi Government of UP is going to be developed. It will be prepared in Oraiya city of UP. Spread over 380 acres, about 160 industrial units will get space in this park. An investment of over Rs 300 crore is estimated on this project.

Under the Industrial Investment and Employment Promotion Policy 2017, the State Government has made provision for several types of incentives and subsidies on the establishment of private industrial parks. According to this policy, UM Power has proposed to set up an industrial park on 160.37 acres of land in Oraiya. Units will be set up in this park for food processing, metal based leather, glass, mobile and logistics sectors.

Major government projects will be completed in two stages in 5-5 years. The first phase is planned to be completed by the financial year 2029-30, while Rs 254 crore has been sanctioned for the development of the infrastructure facilities of the industrial park in the project. Apart from this, it is estimated to spend 64 crores on external infrastructure facilities. According to a UPCIDA official in this regard, the proposal related to the establishment of the unit of the investor is being tested. The agricultural use of the land selected for the park has to be changed to industrialization. Let the Bundelkhand Expressway being built in Uttar Pradesh will pass through 7 districts Chitrakoot, Jhansi, Hamirpur Banda, Etawah, Auraiya, Jalaun. Starting from Chitrakoot, it will be connected with Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Takha Tehsil area of Etawah. Industrial parks are proposed to be built on both its sides. The same, products will be prepared in a large area and sent to different places of the country. For this, the expressway will facilitate the scheme. Job opportunities will be created in the state by its establishment. All business opportunities will open with jobs.
