Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer Luka Chuppi opened to a good respanse at the box-office. Romatic-comedy turned out to be the biggest opener for Kartik as it raked in Rs 8.01 crore at the box office. Over the weekend, Luka Chuppi saw an upward trend. On Saturday, the Laxman Utekar directorial collected Rs 10.08 crore, whereas, on Sunday, the film performed extremely well as it minted Rs 14.04 crore.
Noted film critics and trade analyst shared the box –office collection of the film. Hw wrote, "#LukaChuppi is winning hearts and wooing BO... Makes most of the partial holiday [#Mahashivratri] on Day 4... Mon is at par with Fri... Will comfortably cross ₹ 50 cr in Week 1... Fri 8.01 cr, Sat 10.08 cr, Sun 14.04 cr, Mon 7.90 cr. Total: ₹ 40.03 cr. India biz." The film have film received a good response from the critics and audience and the word of mouth reflecting positively on the business of the film. Considering the response, It is expected that Luka Chuppi will cross Rs 50 crore this week at the box office. The business may get affected due to the release of Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu's Badla on March 8.
