Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer Luka Chuppi is doing great busienss at the box-office. The romantic comedy continued its phenomenal performance in cinemas as it collected Rs 1.62 crore on its third Friday. Its total collection, after a healthy 15-day run, has reached Rs 76.86 crore.
Noted Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh, who has been following the box-office performance of Luka Chuppi, shared its latest business figures on his Twitter page on Saturday. Absence of major films this week is benefiting holdover titles. It clearly suggests that the film will see significant growth on Saturday and Sunday to ensure a good third weekend.
Scripted by Rohan Shankar and directed by Laxman Utekar, Luka Chuppi has Vinod aka Guddu and Rashmi at the center of the story. The two are in a live-in relationship but their families assume that they have got married, which leads to confusion and chaos. The film, at its heart, is a comedy of errors.

Luka Chuppi, upon its release on March 1, met with mixed-to-negative critical reception. That, however, hardly influenced its performance at the box-office. Film is produced by Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films. He last produced the Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer Stree.
