In Kerala, class 10th and 12th board examinations are scheduled to begin today. State CM Pinarayi Vijayan has congratulated lakhs of students appearing for the examination and asked to stay safe in view of the corona epidemic. He tweeted "SSLC and +2 exams are starting. I urge all students to follow the corona rules so that their friends and family are safe. My best wishes to all. ''

Kerala Higher Secondary Examination 2021 is conducted by DHSE. The examination sits starting from 8th April 2021 and will continue till 26th April 2021. This year also, class XII examinations will be conducted in offline mode as before. Plus Two examinations of arts stream students will continue till April 22 this year.

The duration of appearing for the same examination varies according to the practical and non-practical examinations. The examination for subjects without practicals will start at 9:40 am and the examination will end at 12:30 am. This year, the Class XII board examinations in Kerala were canceled due to the Kerala assembly elections. According to the schedule released by DHSE earlier, the exam was scheduled to be held from March 17. But then it was canceled. The Higher Secondary Examination 2021 in Kerala begins on 8th April with subjects of Sociology, Anthropology, Electronic Service Technology (Old), and Electronic Systems.
