The fifth edition of the International Film Festival and Awards Macau (IFFAM) is scheduled to be held from December 3 to 8 this year. This time the theme is 'A Celebration of Life and the Big Screen'.
A media reporter quoted IFFAM sources as saying, 'This year it is heartbreaking to see theaters across the world, so IFFAM wants to celebrate the return of people to theaters and the joy of this beautiful experience. '
He further said, 'There is nothing like sitting in the dark, sharing a film with strangers and crying together. We can't wait to see the audience back in theaters in Macao, bringing a spectacular program for the film and guests. '
Let us tell you that IFFAM will start taking online submissions from filmmakers from 15 June. Last year, films such as 'Parasite' and 'Give Me Liberty' were screened which made a worldwide debut.
