MUMBAI: Yukti Kapoor, a well-known TV actress best known for playing SHO Karishma Singh in the hit sitcom "Maddam Sir," said it's crucial for artists to be healthy since it improves their general health.

Yukti has a glass of methi (fenugreek) water to start her day. She then exercises, starting with 10 minutes of planks and then doing yoga for 10 to 12 minutes.

She shared: "My life is really important to me, especially my fitness. Contrarily, acting as a profession entails long days of non-stop shooting with no predictable window of free time. I always try to get in a calming yoga session during the time that is allotted for the shot to be set up on days when I am on location." Yukti appeared in a variety of programmes, including "Balika Vadhu," "Siya Ke Ram," "Laal Ishq," and "Agniphera."

She went on to ssay: "Effective yoga poses can help you unwind while also having positive effects on your body. I also make it a point to meditate for 15 to 20 minutes when I'm on set because it helps me restore my composure and inner peace. This is about being mindful of my body, mind, and self. This "me time" helps me recharge during lengthy shooting days so that I can keep working productively the rest of the day." It airs on Sony SAB as "Maddam Sir."
