Harda: A victim living in the Civil Lines police station area of the Harda district of Madhya Pradesh has lodged a case against her husband. The husband is accused of being physically weak. His wife advises him for treatment, but he is not getting treatment. When she told this to her mother-in-law, the husband beat her up.

The victim said that since marriage, he was maintaining distance from her. In such a situation, she talked to her husband several times in this regard. When she told him that if you have any kind of physical weakness, then get it treated, but the husband does not get treatment. Even after two years of marriage, there is no child. The victim alleged that there used to be a fight between husband and wife over this matter, but the mother-in-law and husband started torturing her and assaulting her. Police have registered an FIR against the husband and mother-in-law under sections 498A, 294, 323, 506, and 34.

The victim says, 'My husband beats me a lot, I tell him to get treatment. But he doesn't get it done. I told my husband's mother to get her (husband) treated, and when the mother-in-law told this to my husband, he (husband) beat me.' The police registered a case but no action was taken. The Civil Lines police have registered a case against the husband under various sections on the complaint of the woman. The case is being investigated and a search is on for the culprit, police said.
